Henry Nazar P.E. is a former supervising electrical and fire alarm inspector with the Fire Department of New York. Mr. Nazar is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of New York. He earned his bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the City College of New York. Mr. Nazar has over 10 years of experience in teaching electrical and fire alarm installations in various trade schools. In 2016, Mr. Nazar started working with the Fire Department of New York as an electrical inspector of fire alarm installations where he inspected various fire alarm installations ranging from high-rise voice systems, auxiliary radio communications systems, fire pumps and dual-fire command station setups. Mr. Nazar serves as a member in the NYC Department of Buildings Electrical Code Committee for Fire Pumps and Fire Alarm Systems (NYC Electrical Code Articles 695 and 760). Henry Nazar is currently a fire protection consultant and designer in New York.
